Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make wine for my wedding?
Yes, you can make wine for your wedding and it is not hard at all! All you need to do is choose your wine, pay and pitch the yeast and then come back 5-8 weeks later to bottle it. Bottling is easy and fun, and takes approximately an hour or so - depending on how much wine you are making, of course. Our friendly team will help you through the entire process, and it can be a great way to spend time with your wedding party before the day.
Can I make beer for my wedding?
Yes! You can make any style of beer for your wedding day, whether it is similar to your favourite store-bought lager or ale, or your own creation for your special day! All you have to do is choose a beer, pay and pitch the yeast, then come back in 3 weeks to can or bottle it. We also have keg rentals with taps, and you can loan our whole system so that there is beer on tap on the day.
Can I make ciders or seltzers for my wedding?
Yes! With us you can also make cider, seltzer, wine spritzer, sparkling wine, or even mead for your wedding day! All you have to do is choose your beverage, flavour, pay and pitch the yeast, then come back in a few weeks to can or bottle it. We also have keg rentals with taps, and you can loan our whole system so that you have carbonated beverages on tap for your day.
Can I make custom labels for my wedding beverages?
Absolutely! We can design and print labels for your wedding beverages - you can tell us what you would like on them and we design, or you can design them yourself and we will print them.
Do I need to check with my venue?
Yes, it is very important to ensure that you are allowed to serve the alcohol you make with us at your wedding. Usually this requires a special event permit, and the rules vary depending on where the wedding is held. Please be sure to double check with your venue or wedding planner as to what permits are required. Under no circumstances can any product made with us ever be sold!
Step 1 - Choose Your Package
Choose your wedding package! We recommend starting this process around 6 - 4 months before the wedding. Feel free to contact us anytime and we will help find what best suits your needs!
Step 2 - Pitch the Yeast
Come into store to pay for your package and pitch the yeast into your chosen beverages. Although only taking a few minutes, this is the most important step in making with us and is a legal requirement.
Step 3 - Let Us Do The Work
Your package of beverages will be ready to bottle or can in approximately 8-12 weeks. During this time, you can sit back and relax while we do the rest.
Our team will be caring for your beverages while they ferment, clear, impart flavour, and settle until they are ready to bottle or can.
Step 4 - Call to Make an Appointment to Bottle
When your beverages are ready to bottle you can make an appointment to bottle. We will help guide you in figuring out the best time to bottle or can your beverages in time for the wedding!
Step 5 - Bottle or can your beverages!
On your appointment day, come in to bottle or can your beverages! Our friendly team will lead you through the entire process.
Bottling and canning itself is a very easy process, whether you bottle into cans, glass bottles, plastic bottles or keg. The whole process takes approximately 45 mins per batch.
Step 6 - Store your beverages before the day
This is an important step - storage!
Beer made with us has no added preservatives at all, meaning that it has to be kept cold at all times. This is important to note for storage before your wedding - many people will ask family and friends if they would be willing to share fridge space to keep it all safe.
Wine, cider, seltzers and spritzers all have a little preservative in - but still less than 50% preservatives than what you can buy at the liquor store. Therefore it has to be kept in a place that is dark, cool, consistent temperature below 17C. A basement, wine chiller, under the stairs or fridge can be good spots - and again many people ask family or friends for help!
Step 7 - Enjoy!
The easiest step of all - enjoy at your wedding!
We offer 100% satisfaction guarantee. We highly suggest trying your beverage before the wedding to make sure you like it - if for any reason you don't enjoy it and it does not suit what you are looking for, all you need to do is let us know on the day you bottle or before the wedding day. You then return the bottles or cans, we will add a credit to your account and you can make another batch to find something that suits your taste. If the wedding is too close for this, we will refund you entirely so that you find something else before the day!

White Wines
Classic - ready in 5 weeks
A fan favourite, and our best selling wine! Dry, with crisp acidity, the pinot grigio has notes of citrus and green apple which makes for a refreshing sip, especially in the summer! Pairs well with seafood, vegetables, and light pastas and is excellent carbonated for a prosecco-style option.
Classic - ready in 5 weeks
A favourite selection for something slightly "sweeter". An off-dry wine, with mouth watering acidity, the riesling has notes of peach and pineapple which makes this wine smooth and fruity. It pairs well with roasted poultry, as well as spicy foods like Thai or Mexican cuisine.
Classic - ready in 5 weeks
A favourite of those who enjoy wine classy and dry, Sauvignon Blanc presents citrus notes of lemon and grapefruit alongside crisp green fruit like apple and pear. Pairs well with lighter foods such as fish, white meats, spring vegetables, and fresh tomatoes.
Rosé Wines
Classic - ready in 5 weeks
Falling between off-dry and sweet, White Zinfandel is fun and fruity with notes of cherry and strawberry. Great for drinking on a sunny afternoon in celebration!
Reserve - ready in 7 weeks
The Grenache is a sophisticated dry Rosé wine - a beautiful pink salmon colour with notes of strawberry, raspberry with undetones of citrus and berries.
Red Wines
Classic - ready in 5 weeks
A fan favourite with its juicy, fruit forward flavour, the cabernet sauvignon is a dry wine with medium to heavy oak. Notes of black currant, black cherry, toasted oak and well-integrated tannins. It pairs well with meaty options like steak, porobello mushrooms and a good burger!
Classic - ready in 5 weeks
A classic option, recognized and enjoyed by many for it's smooth lusciousness. A dry wine, with medium to heavy oak, with notes of black cherry, fruitcake and smoke, with smooth tannins. Pairs well with roasted beef and poultry, as well as fresh berries and fruit.
Classic - ready in 5 weeks
A spicier option, but still a classic. A dry wine, with medium oak, the Shiraz has notes of blackberry, spice, and black cherry, leaving a peppery finish on the tongue. Pairs well with BBQ and grilled foods, hard aged cheese and roasted lamb.
Sparkling Wine Suggestions for a Wedding:
Classic - ready in 5 weeks
Again, a fan favourite, and when sparkling often likened to Prosecco!
A bit of a wildcard here, the Moscato is popular for its deliciously sweet flavours of grape, green apple and pear. When bubbly, the sweetness of Moscato is a little less overpowering, making for a delicious and refreshing wine that is very easy to drink – perfect for speeches!
